The Rotunda, a story that will turn heads

Built over seven decades, the Rotunda of the Hôtel de Paris Monte-Carlo has always impressed guests due to its magical rooms with sea view. Today, this magic continues through a new challenge: combining the restaurant's prestigious history with modern comforts.

 

 

 

A new art of luxury

Since it first opened in the late 19th century, the Rotunda has been creating buzz. The luxurious rooms and bathrooms with baths in solid mahogany have always caused a sensation. Everyone from belle époque high society was there. In the 1950s, Prince Rainier III added the finishing touches with four additional floors. There, he opened Le Grill, decorated at the time with a Louis XIV royal galley and which became an unmissable gastronomic restaurant in Monaco.

Pure sensations

Today, Martinet and Viora are restoring the Rotunda's prestige and stature, combining the rich heritage of its past with the latest in technology and comfort. The original moulding will be restored in its entirety to all 70 rooms and suites. Some love the sand and sea theme, while others fall under the charm of the warm, shimmering colours.
