The Kids Room at the Hôtel Hermitage Monte-Carlo offers a wide range of activities for those who prefer to stay in one place, giving them free rein to be as creative as they like. Families can take advantage of the swimming pools at the Monte-Carlo Bay Hotel & Resort, relax with duo treatments at the Thermes Marins Monte-Carlo, and have a meal in one of the Resort's restaurants. From fun discoveries to captivating visits and moments of sharing, every corner of the Principality promises unforgettable memories. Get ready for a magical family experience!
Within its hotels, Monte-Carlo Société des Bains de Mer offers a wide range of entertainment options for families. The Hôtel Hermitage Monte-Carlo invites budding connoisseurs aged 6 and over to come and have fun in its Kids Room - little ones are also welcome with an accompanying adult. A dedicated space where they can let their imaginations run wild with games, books, instruments and art workshops. There's a whole range of free activities on offer during every school holiday, with the exception of the February holidays, as well as every Sunday during your brunch. There are also special evenings for children and teenagers: Saturdays during autumn holidays, from 7pm to 10pm, they can enjoy a film evening, a competition or a game (reserved for guests of the Hôtel Hermitage Monte-Carlo and its restaurants).
Because well-being knows no age, we look forward to welcoming you and your family to the Thermes Marins Monte-Carlo to share a relaxing interlude with your "grown-up" children, aged 12 and over. As of the All Saints' Day holidays in October/November, come and enjoy our new range of treatments for teenagers and parents: from Rossano Ferretti hair treatments, scalp scrubs and body massages in a double cabin, to manicures and pedicures. And for the more energetic families, family sports sessions accompanied by a coach are also available.
And treat yourself to some gourmet fun in our introductory chocolate-making and baking workshops. Immerse yourself in the melting, delicate world of chocolate, accompanied by a master pastry chef and chocolatier. Or discover the know-how of our artisan bakers under the expert guidance of a MOF chef (Meilleur Ouvrier de France). You'll be delighted to leave with your creations of the day! We look forward to welcoming you to our gourmet workshops on Wednesdays and Saturdays from 3pm.
Relax and enjoy your holiday at the Monte-Carlo Bay Hotel & Resort. While you enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of the indoor pool with Jacuzzis, your children can play in the outdoor infinity pool or in the sandy lagoon (open in summer). A veritable aquatic oasis on the shores of the Mediterranean, the promise of fun-filled family moments
At the Monaco Oceanographic Museum, take your children on a voyage of discovery of the flora and fauna of the Mediterranean coastline. Fans of escape games can play at being an adventurer during a space-time voyage aboard the Princess Alice II, Prince Albert I's laboratory ship. Or you can explore the marine world wearing virtual reality goggles. Guided tours and workshops are offered every weekend from 11am to 4pm, and every day during the school holidays.
The Museum of Prehistoric Anthropology also offers guided tours, games and workshops during the school holidays for children aged 4 to 12. From the age of 8, let your archaeologist's soul do the talking in this rewarding escape game that will plunge you into the footsteps of the past.
With its programme of guided tours, its workshops for young people during the school holidays, its "Family Weekends" activities every Saturday at 3pm, and other treasure hunts: the New National Museum of Monaco (NMNM) between Villa Sauber and Villa Paloma, definitely knows how to "talk" to children!
A visit to the Prince's Palace is a must. For 6-11 year olds, don't forget to ask for the booklet specially for youngsters to make the experience even more immersive. Don't miss the solemn changing of the guard by the Prince's Carabinieri, which takes place every day on the Place du Palais at 11.55am! Take advantage of a combined offer to combine your visit to the Palais with that of the Car Collection of H.S.H. Prince Rainier III of Monaco. Around a hundred classic cars assembled over 40 years and produced in the hangars of the world's leading manufacturers.
As for gardens, if you want to give your children a real treat, head for the Exotic Garden where nature is as unusual as it is exuberant. A natural wonder offering exceptional views over Monaco. Included in your entrance ticket: the visit to the Grotte de l'Observatoire located just below the garden. Set off for the Land of the Rising Sun with a "zen" stroll in the Monaco Japanese Garden. In the heart of the Principality, step freely through the entrance to this haven of peace and lose yourself amongst the mountains, bridges and streams, waterfalls and Koi carp ponds. A journey within your journey!
Overlooking the port of Fontvieille, the Rainier III Zoological Gardens await you with some 300 animals of sixty different species. A fantastic 'wild' escape amongst exotic birds, tortoises and caimans, hippos and reptiles... Finally, just outside Monaco, the Villa Ephrussi de Rothschild, a marvel of Renaissance style, unfolds a symphony of gardens on its hill on the Cap Ferrat peninsula. Nine dream gardens for the whole family to enjoy.
Outside the city, climb up to Èze, a charming medieval village perched on the heights of Monaco, and take advantage of the marvellous "Open Skies" evenings at the Astrorama. Attend a planetarium session, observe the Moon, learn to read the sky and spot the main constellations... There are plenty of opportunities for young and old (aged 6 and over) to soar among the stars and learn more about science.
Still in Èze Village, as well as gazing at the stars, why not take a guided tour of the Fragonard Factory-Laboratory and discover the secrets of perfume and cosmetics production? And after your visit, take part in the "Flower of the Year" olfactory workshop. An activity open to children aged 8 and over (accompanied by an adult) to create and personalise their own eau de toilette!
In Monaco and the surrounding area, everyone enjoys sports all year round. The mini-golf course at Parc Princesse Antoinette is open to all. A clay course for family fun. Other activities include sand games, swings and slides for toddlers. Badminton, volleyball and table tennis for the older children. Last but not least, the Hoof in Cap horse riding centre, set in the heart of nature, welcomes your children (aged 3 and over) to the Col d'Èze, between the sky and the mountains, for "baby" pony rides every weekend during the holidays, or riding courses during the school holidays.
