The founding members of the Rencontres Philosophiques de Monaco association, Charlotte Casiraghi, its president, Robert Maggiori and Raphael Zagury-Orly, bring together thinkers from France and abroad who are shaping today's philosophy through their research, and a broad public who come to find tools for reflection in an attempt to better understand the world, society, others and themselves.
Three dates for this season
Philosophy can indeed be for everyone! The association chaired by Charlotte Casiraghi aims to explore themes of everyday life during conferences and debates led by well-respected speakers. On the agenda: “Love, Desire and Sexuality” on 16 January, “Conflict Between Dialogue, Division and Conflict” on 13 March and “Identity” on 3 April.
Multidisciplinarity as a horizon
Digital technology has made it possible to disseminate knowledge on a huge scale, but it's not always easy to find your way around. Once a month from 7pm to 9pm, Les Rencontres offers lectures at the Théâtre Princesse Grace by philosophers, historians, psychoanalysts, artists, anthropologists and scientists, using a multidisciplinary approach that does not give in to vulgarisation or hyperspecialisation.
Find out more about the programme at Monaco's Théâtre Princesse Grace, from Thursday 16 January to 3 April 2025.
