Giacomo Puccini's fourth opera and a pillar of the Italian operatic repertoire, La Bohème has, like few operas, the art of touching hearts in the most immediate way. Mimi is one of those heroines that everyone wants to protect, to cuddle, so sweet and fragile, embodying the difficulties of love. The success of this opera is due to the simplicity of the argument as much as to the efficiency of the music.
